Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville) Duke run afoul of the law in Hazzard County constantly. Oftentimes, their cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) helps then out of trouble simply by using her good looks. When they are threatened with the loss of Uncle Jesse's farm, the Duke family goes into action. Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds) is the County Commissioner and he is up to no good. He's finding ways to take farms in the area and the boys want to know why. They chase all over the county in their orange Dodge Charger investigating. There is some sexual content as Luke philanders and Daisy uses her sexual charms to get information. The women are portrayed as bimbos that wear revealing clothing. Some of the humor is crude and there are several scenes showing marijuana use by college students and adults. There is some language and comic action violence. No one really gets hurt, but Boss Hogg and the Dukes break many laws. Good does triumph over evil in the end. Sometimes, you cannot be sure who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. What makes the law breaking Dukes any better than Boss Hogg? Email Linda Back to Home Copyright © 2005 Linda Thomas |
