Rating: PG - 13 Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars Best for Ages: 16+ Ages 3 - 7: Red Ages 8 - 12: Red Ages 13 - 17: Yellow Violence Amount: Yellow Violence Portrayal: Yellow Fear: Yellow Illegal / Harmful: Yellow Language: Yellow Nudity: Yellow Sex: Yellow Review: This is a serious story with adult
themes. Eric O’Neill (Ryan Philippe) is a young FBI agent sent to clerk
for veteran Robert Hanssen (Chris Cooper). While he is working for him,
he is to collect proof that Hanssen has been spying for the Russians
for over twenty years. There is a lot of suspense in the movie but not
a lot of action. This may make it a little slow for teen-agers. We
follow O’Neill as he gathers evidence for the FBI. This is one of the
biggest, true spy stories in many years. There is some violence shown,
ending in death. There are also sexual perversions discussed and a
scene of videotaped sex between a man and wife. This movie is a good
adult movie or for more mature teen-agers. Why does Hanssen spy? Why
does O’Neill leave the agency at the end?
