Rating: PG - 13 Overall rating: 2 out of 5 stars Best for Ages: 18+ Ages 3 - 7: Red Ages 8 - 12: Red Ages 13 - 17: Red Violence Amount: Green Violence Portrayal: Green Fear: Green Illegal / Harmful: Green Language: Red Nudity: Red Sex: Red Review: This movie is about an interfering
mother (Diane Keaton) and her three adult daughters. Two of the girls
are married (Laurel Graham, Piper Perabo) and the youngest one is still
single. The mother decides to help her daughter find the perfect mate.
She puts an ad in a singles column and proceeds to interview all the
respondents. After talking to a lot of Mr. Wrongs, she meets Mr. Right
(Tom Everett Scott). A young musician (Gabriel Macht) has been watching
mom interview all these candidates. He takes one of her cards and
decides that he would like to meet the daughter. Both men meet the girl
and ask her out. She likes both the young men and she cannot decide
between them. There are some funny and cute scenes in the movie, but
overall, it is an adult movie. There are a lot of sexual scenes and
conversations. The woman has relations with both men at the same time.
She and her mother have a frank discussion about orgasms. The themes
are more adult and there is also partial nudity. Diane Keaton is
wonderful to watch but you don’t want your teen child sitting next to
you. Why does mom want all her daughters married? Which girl is most
like mom?
