He is asked to coach a team of 6th grade baseball players who did not make any local team because they are not any good. They are physically and socially inept. Morris only takes the job for the money. He cares more for booze and women than he does for his team. Eventually, he begins to try coaching his best and the team does improve. There is rude behavior and bad language throughout the movie. Morris has sex with a player's mother, gets a gentleman's club to sponsor the team and the strippers show up at the games. He also takes the team to Hooters for hamburgers. This is not a family movie. Your child should be able to drive before seeing this movie. It might be entertaining to older teens and fathers that have coached a sport but it is not for children. Email Linda Back to Home Copyright © 2005 Linda Thomas |
